Instructing Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities

This training provides participants with specific characteristics and strategies for working with students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (SCD). Participants will be able to use the Mississippi Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (MS AAAS) as a guide by linking them to Specially Designed Instruction (including IEPs) and teaching strategies, including classroom setup, management, and lesson planning.
