Resilience in Action: Designing Solutions for a Changing World 2026
Resilience in Action: Designing Solutions for a Changing World 2026
Spend two days at the Marine Education Center exploring how climate change and community resilience intersects along the Gulf Coast. Through hands-on classroom activities, NASA data tools, shoreline observations aboard the Miss Peetsy B, and a guided community vulnerability tour, teachers will learn how to bring resilience science to life in their classrooms. Participants will complete tested classroom activities that illustrate processes while connecting to real-world coastal challenges. Leave with classroom-ready lessons, knowledge of where to go to learn more, and practical tools to help students design meaningful, locally grounded resilience solutions.
