Research Experience for Teachers 2026

The Research Experience for Teachers program is a National Science Foundation grant that bring local science teachers from high school around the state to USM to complete lab work over the course of six weeks. Teachers also develop lesson plans and workshops that they take back to their students in order to further their knowledge of polymer science throughout the state. We also sponsor teachers to publish their findings and attend various conferences to present.
