SRESA will offer I.E.P. 101 training on September 19, 2025 in Owings McQuagge Hall . There is no fee for this workshop which has been approved for .5 CEU credit . Participants may purchase the CEU certificate upon completion of the workshop if needed. Seating is limited to 35 participants . Registration is at sresa.net using event I.D. # 10970.
Title: IEP 101
Description: This professional development session equips Special Education teachers with essential knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), IEP development, and the roles of the IEP team. Participants will learn their legal responsibilities, how to develop federally compliant IEPs, and how to effectively produce a standards-based PLAAFP and construct measurable annual goals that address the unique needs of students.
