2021 Summer of Innovation Rockets & Robots Level II

The purpose of the Summer of Innovation summer program is to implement the STEM initiatives into more elementary schools through the training and hands-on availability of objectives with the teachers of the elementary students.  Objectives will include:  Partnering with the local elementary schools to foster an understanding of STEM opportunities which will be expanded into the elementary classroom. Develop the content, skills and practices of STEM disciplines that will prepare all students for future success in STEM college programs and/or careers. Develop the content, skills and practices of STEM disciplines that will prepare all teachers for their future teachings with success in STEM applications. Assisting students and teachers in understanding the connections between scientific inquiry and engineering. Building student confidence, strengthening their abilities to question, research, design, engineer and present solutions to local programs and issues.
