Children's Foundation of MS Fifth Annual Summit Sowing Seeds of Success Cultivating a Bright Future for Mississippi's Children

The Children’s Foundation of Mississippi’s Fifth Annual Summit is a two-day professional learning event that brings together leaders from education, health, nonprofit organizations, public policy, and community agencies to explore strategies that strengthen outcomes for children and families across Mississippi. Grounded in the findings of the Mississippi KIDS COUNT Risk and Reach Report, the summit provides participants with research, data, and real-world examples that highlight both the challenges facing Mississippi’s children and the innovative work happening in communities throughout the state.  Through panel discussions, breakout sessions, and interactive trainings, participants will examine topics including early childhood education, literacy initiatives, family engagement, maternal and child health, technology safety, chronic absenteeism, teacher leadership and advocacy, child welfare awareness, and community partnerships. Sessions highlight collaborative efforts between state agencies, nonprofits, educators, and local leaders working to improve education, health, economic stability, and family support systems.  The summit also provides structured networking opportunities that allow participants to connect with organizations and resources serving children and families across Mississippi. By sharing data-informed strategies, promising practices, and collaborative models, the event equips attendees with practical tools and partnerships to support the well-being and long-term success of Mississippi’s children.
