MISSISSIPPI ELA TEACHERS--ROUTINE WRITING TO CREATE A CULTURE OF WRITERS

During this course, we will explore a variety of ways to help teachers integrate routine writing into their classroom. Just as we know the importance of helping students become more fluent readers through large volumes of daily reading, we must acknowledge the need for them to become more fluent writers by engaging in lots of short daily writing tasks. These daily writing experiences also create a sense of classroom community, belonging, and agency among writers.
