 This workshop is an on demand virtual offering and is available February 27 - March 10, 2023.  This one-hour recorded presentation will cover the history of ethics and look at ASHA's Code of Ethics for SLP's. Participants will review scenarios and suggested strategies for navigating potential ethical situations. This course meets the new ASHA Certification Maintenance Standards for one [1] hour in the area of ethics per maintenance interval.

TOPICS COVERED:

- Overview of ethics and ASHA'S Code of Ethics for SLP's.

-Scenarios.

-Strategies for potential ethical situations.

PROGRAM COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS: Participants are required to complete the entire program. Individuals who do not complete the entire program will not be eligible for ASHA CEU's. No partial credit will be provided. All participants will need access to a device with internet access to complete the course.
